woots! today i just released early..as shang is cutting casual labours cost too..felt so tired..although theres only one lunch functionprobably due to brewing many many erns and erns of coffee and teaonly me alonenormally guys will do thatwell because i volunteered to do it also hahassupposed to meet him todaybut he was in school busy with the new students orientationso we didnoh! forgot to update ya'lli went to sentosa ytd for outside cateringwith my ex-banquet manager who is in the BLU restaurant, stewards and chefsso im representing the BLU restaurant for the World Gourmet Summittheres many other top-notch hotels like Ritz Carlton, Swissotel, Grand Hyatt, Intercontinental hotel and of course the Sam Leong you always see in teevee shows..and lastly, of course Shangri-la hotelthese hotels will present their foods and many invited guests will come to taste their food for FREE!we had Foie Gras with vanilla apple, Salmon Caviar with lime foam and lastly braised pork belly with languistineFole Gras i heard its so expensive ya..my manager told me that i can eat so i tasted all of them and of course some of other hotels(thats too good a deal)salmon caviar is very nice but my fav however is the braised pork bellypork belly is a very normal ingredient to use yai never liked and ate pork belly beforeuntil i tried it ytd...ITS REALLY REALLY VERY NICE!!very soft and tender as our chef braised it for 36 HOURS you see...and i oso went to the sam leong station to see whether his food is really THAT goodtried one of his steamed eggits really yucky..(sorry to say that)added something that does not match with the eggour chefs say so too..(:enjoyed my day there and its a really a new experience for mefor tasting so many delicacies without the need to pay! wahahaha..however, i felt so yi han because i din manage to taste all food from the top hotels like Ritz carlton and swissotel..haizzz
